About Us
The Forum was set up in 1994 by our founder, Max Feldman, to bring together older people and organisations working on their behalf.
Our main purpose is to represent the interest of older people. We are affiliated to
The Greater London Forum for Older People (www.greaterlondonforum.org.uk)
Age UK London (www.ageuk.org.uk/london)
They are the umbrella bodies for older people's Forums in all 32 London boroughs and the City of London. (A full list is on the Greater London Forum's web site)
Committee members from Kingston Pensioners Forum attend these and other meetings and report back on the latest information affecting the elderly.
Our Committee members work voluntarily under the guidance of the Chairman and are elected annually at the AGM, all have named positions.
The Forum is a non-party political organisation and we welcome all ethnic denominations.
Our President is The Worshipful the Mayor of The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, and we appreciate the grant given to us each year.
We rely on grants and donations so welcome any contributions our supporters can offer.
Our former Chair: Douglas Reynolds MBE remembered the Kingston Pensioners Forum in his Will.
